Olen tehnyt erilaisia media-alan töitä Suomessa, Yhdysvalloissa, Meksikossa, Kreikassa ja Libanonissa. Yksi tarina kuvaa suhtautumistani työskentelyyn eri kulttuureissa ja materiaalin mukauttamista vastaamaan paikallista visuaalista ilmaisua ja tarinankerronta tyyliä.

 

Kuvatessani syyrialaisia Beirutissa, tein ohjelman graffitin paljastuksesta, joka oli osa beirutilaisnuorten rauhankoulutusta. Se oli merkittävä tapahtuma, jossa useat paikalliset poliitikot pitivät puheita. Asiakkaani oli opetuksesta vastaava organisaatio, mutta ohjelma (30 min) löysi tiensä paikalliselle TV-asemalle.
